Could it be a cowrie snail? Think they are good CUC, but have a habit of toppling rocks. No personal experience though

Yes I have money cowrie and it looks exactly like that - I’m not sure about them toppling rocks - I doubt it as they don’t seem to have much ‘stick’ if you try to remove them from the glass.
Bossed freshwater planted tanks so making the move...

Yeah that's a cowrie, good and interesting little dudes!  They can pull flesh over their shell to disguise themselves.

Thanks to everyone, if you look at the picture, up and left to the cowrie you will see a purple mass, is this a sponge type thing as it certainly is not coraline, it seems fleshy
