I have loads of these tiny creatures appearing in my reef tank. any ideas what they are and should I be worried or excited? Cheers Alison

Hi Alison, welcome to ReefBase  8D

Those look like vermetid snails to me.

If you can remove the rock, take it out and absolutely obliterate them all, scratch them off with a screwdriver or something leaving no trace.

They are not a major issue, but they can spread rapidly, and they spit out a weird mucous net to catch food which irritates/slows down growth of corals.
