Recently got a Tmc  Reef-Tide 4000 wavemaker,

Wondering if anyone could give me some advice/ things I should consider about my placement of the wavemaker in a fluval evo 13.5.

I understand every tank will be different, added some photos to help.

New to the hobby which I’m enjoying so far, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Drakey  welcome to ReefBase.

You could hide it behind the rockwork, or put it at the other end blasting against the output from the built in pump.  TBH all I usually do is try the WM in a few places, see what gets the water moving pretty evenly, and doesn't look too stupid (did briefly have one wavemaker on the front of my tank...  lol )

Thanks:

Hey!, thank you for the reply.

I like that idea, would you suggest putting it low and point it slightly upwards towards the surface of the water?, I did think about putting against the output would that not effect it at all?.

If it worked well enough 🤷‍♂️ Haha.
