I can't get to my usual LFS where I get my virtually 0 TDS RO water due to the traffic / diversions for the Isle of Wight Festival - if I go into a different LFS can I ask to test a sample of their RO water before I buy it??  Awkward!

sure I do ,ask what it is first then dip your own tester in the container if its not what they say it is say you don't won't it !

I asked one lfs and they guessed around 4 without checking ,I insisted it was checked and he got in a strop then hid the reading from me ,then said it is around 14, give or take 40 or 50 I reckon ,told them to pour it a away  ,don't use that lfs anymore  found a much better one tds of 1 .
You're paying for pure water some sell it reading higher than the tap .
