So 30W + 25 W you're up to 55W.

It's probably enough to maintain some mushrooms, it'll be fine for Xenia, it might keep some Zoas (zoanthids) but that's about the limit, you really need to get over 100W of light before you can safely keep any softies long term.

60W+ if it's just pure chip based LEDs.

Seriously look at gumtree and eBay, you'll get a lot more for your money. If you buy a bit older tech, like T5s, you'll be pretty much stealing it. :)

Have you got school in the morning?  :P I've got work in the morning, but I'm hardcore.  :p

What my dad said "do good you get good things do bad you get bad things"-johnthan Battiste but yeah I know I'm in top set everything so I'm predicted all As and Bs but I've missed 6 weeks of education so I've fallen behind a lot so in my mocks hopefully pull a C and then gain it back before my real GCSE in May

Yep, your Dad is right.

I did good, and have a good job, nice car, etc. My brother did bad, and he's got sod all but a criminal record.  :offended:

Listen to your dad, he's not bullshitting you.  :glad:

Good luck with your results. You're probably ahead of the rest with science and biology at least, if that's still how it works!  :heyyy:

@Mike .... maybe @Levi_battiste could get hold of some second hand TMC Aquaray LEDs they used to be fairly popular?

You don't have to ditch the stock lighting but you can supplement it by adding more.
Some people with fluorescent lighting in such as the fluval Vicenza tanks used to add The Aquaray lights to get a better colour and to add a bit of the shimmer effect.
