Good evening, I am new to corals today I bought my 1st anenome at the moment I have 2x 36w and 2x 24w aqua one tubes. I am in the future looking at upgrading my tank however I want to know if all corals are OK with these lights.

Hi, Craig.

Anemones aren't corals, they're singular animals.

Your lighting certainly isn't nearly sufficient for an anemone. Which one is it?

You've low light, even 120w total of T5s isn't much light. The equivalent wattage LED light would be several times brighter. , it's suitable for softies, mushrooms and zoanthids.

You'll have to upgrade the lighting to keep most corals and the Anemone will likely perish depending on which it is.

 :heyyy: welcome though!

Agree with Mike.  Unfortunately, it looks like whoever sold you the anemone really doesn't care about it or you - just making a fast buck I bet.  Anemones really do need strong lighting (they are photosynthetic), a mature tank (9 months plus) and some are near impossible to keep in an aquarium - although saddly, shops keep importing and selling them.  There are some that are great in aquariums, but again, you really do need better lights to keep one.  I'd take it back if an upgrade to the lights is not possible within the next week or so (it'll die if not, and pollute your tank).

What tank do you have?  Do you have any other livestock?

It's a bubble tip.  Was told that would be the only one that would survive with the lighting aslong as it was as high up as possible. I have a 200ltr tank with 4 fish 4 shrimp

Bubble tips are the easiest to keep, that that's a good start.  The lights are really not going to be enough though.

They forgot to mention to you that they can move so even if you place it up high it can soon wander anywhere in your tank.

An anenome just added to a system is likely to wonder till it finds the place it is happy and that's not necessarily where you place it. If it happens to also find a powerhead they can easily wipe a tank out looks like the LFS was just after a sale :(
