I've noticed a couple of time since establishing my tank (+/ 3months) my fish seems to go mental in the tank on some nights. Almost like they at an all you can eat buffet.
I'm guessing they munching down on live food, but how is it that I seem to have so much of it without introducing it to my tank? Could it be that my "2nd hand" live rock had enough of them live through the transfer that they've managed to establish themselves?
Or! am I completely wrong on my guess that these things in my water column are copepods or the like, and are actually sinister in some way https://youtu.be/pPenvo7kx_c
A bit of tank info, 300 litres with about 60 kg of rock (45 live + 15 base). I've got one large bit of live rock in my sump. This is purely because I couldn't get the bugger to sit properly in the DT and had nowhere else to put it... I hate wasting things....
