Hi everyone,

Just curious, is there anyway to entice my clown fish out from the top corner of my tank? Is there anyway to get them to host on something ? I feel like they're hosting in the top corner behind where the blower comes out !
Thanks!

Nope. Mine live in a similar spot. I have various LPS corals and 3 or 4 nems. They just aren't interested. They kind of host my magnet cleaner sometimes

They sometimes seem not to know what to do (tank bred have never seen a nem mostly). Sometimes they seem to discover it, and start hosting something, sometimes not.

Is there any way you can make them learn to host in something? Or shall I just enjoy them swimming around lol

Its been known to work by putting the fish down a tube straight into the nem! ( drain pipe sized tube btw ) personally i would leave them too it! they will venture out once they get a bit more brave.

Took mine two years to figure out that a hammer coral would host them.  Before that she'd spent all her time hanging around the return pipe!

I tried playing videos, sticking pictures on the tank and all that nonsense, but in the end she just seemed to figure it out one day.
