To avoid chemical reactions that could cause super saturation which would lead to some important elements precipitating out of the water.

Check out Vyair and RO World (supplier on here).  I have a unit from Vyair - ring them.  Their customer service is superb.  No hard sell. They will make sure you get all the bits you need.

Don't forget the sky hooks and elbow grease!

Also professional window washers that use pumped systems use RO, they'd probably sell to you.
