From its conception, Barracuda was designed specially as a LED alternative or add-on to T5 systems which are still preferred by many hobbyists. With ultra slim profile dimensions and length of 500 mm, passive cooling and multiple LEDs spread evenly on full length of fixture, provide all advantages of a LED system and all of a T5 system in one design. The high-end components together with optimum design choices provide maximum efficiency and lifetime of the system.

- Very compact design that fits any space (LxWxH) - 500 x 100 x 35 mm;

- Black or natural anodized aluminum profiles together with stainless steel covers and mounting elements – salt-water & corrosion proof;

I'm not in a position to buy anything yet, but I'm planning for me next tank in a year or two and I wondered do you know what kind of PAR these kick out at various depths?

And I see you mentioned PWM but do you know which controllers can be used with it?

I plan to add more data on this light - so the topic is not finished yet :)

Over last couple of years I made many experiments with lights on my tank and other tanks in order to tune the spectrum and power of those systems; To be honest we even ended up bleaching corals, changing colors and even destroy some lamps during tests ( :) ). I learned lot of stuff from there, but to answer your question PAR as value is not relevant ( can explain you in details why, but will better keep this answer short, the tuning of spectrum was based on PUR - I tested everything using spectrometers and have the powers for each individual wavelength as mW/nm). In parallel followed the coral reactions at various water parameters, light intensity and spectrum; There is a complex relation between power of light and available nutrients in tank for example; Also some LEDs added into system have no coral growth value (basically corals can live and grow great without those), but only added value is on pigmentation. Other LEDs added have nothing to do with corals at all, but only help humans to see the beauty of tank (like 4000k high CRI white LEDs)
As reference, I have a RS Reefer 350 with 2 Barracudas on, both kept at around 50% intensity with SPS on all levels - but still I need to dose NO3 / PO4 daily as lights are rather too powerful for an ULNS; If would like to go on such low nutrient system should lower the intensity more; Deepest tank where installed Barracuda is for now a 80 cm (200 x 70 x 80 cm system), also I think around 60% intensity with SPS on all levels (but is a ULNS)

On control side - lights were tested with Bluefish, Bluefish mini, Storm, Storm X and Hurricane;
Also, soon I will release Jarvis UNO (an intelligent controller for light systems only capable of controlling huge number of lights via one cable) and a bit later Jarvis MEGA - a full tank control system based on same one wire I2C comm protocol)
